After over a week of rumor and speculation, Victory Poker issued a statement confirming what the entire poker world seems to have already known: Victory Poker will be leaving the Everleaf Poker Network and taking its brand to the Cake Poker Network.

Victory Poker is still a relatively new online poker room, and with a slew of professional poker players already signed to the site –most notably Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari—Victory Poker has been able to compete in a very cutthroat market, despite residing on a relatively small poker network.

The move to the Cake Poker Network will dramatically increase the site’s player pool, as well as give them access to Cake’s incredible VIP Rewards Program, the Gold Chips and Gold Stacks rewards.

Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman, said this about the move, “I’m truly excited about the next chapter for Victory Poker. Being on Cake will give our players access to a multitude of tournaments, cash games, and special promotions. Cake will ensure our players get to enjoy 20k to 100k guaranteed tournaments every day, as well as the new and exciting ‘Gold Chips/Gold Cards’ rewards systems.”

Of course, the loss of their best-known poker site will likely cripple the Everleaf Network, and cause them to slip much further down the list in terms of player traffic.

Expect a brief Interview with Victory Poker CEO Dan Fleyshman later this week.
