Online Poker traffic numbers for February 2011

Taking a look at the online poker traffic numbers from www.pokerscout.com can tell you a lot about industry trends, and which poker rooms are thriving; as well as which ones are struggling.

Even though the top of the list remains relatively unchanged –according to pokerscout.com’s weekly report from 2/14 this is the 5th straight week that the Top 4 poker rooms have maintained their spots– Full Tilt Poker has started to close the gap on PokerStars; whether this is a result of Full Tilt poker currently being in the midst of the FTOPS XIX tournament series will have to wait another week or so.

Here is a look at the top 10 online poker rooms according to www.pokerscout.com:

1.    PokerStars: Players Online 142,427 — 7-Day Average 30,200
2.    Full Tilt Poker: Players Online 76,167 — 7-Day Average 17,200
3.    PartyPoker: Players Online 16,753 – 7-Day Average 3,950
4.    iPoker Network: Players Online 5,156 – 7-Day Average 3,700
5.    Ongame Network: Players Online 12,136 – 7-Day Average 2,850
6.    PeoplesNetwork.it: (Self-reported Data) Players Online 14,213 – 7-Day Average unavailable
7.    Cereus Poker Network: Players Online 12,115 – 7-Day Average 2,150
8.    PokerStars.fr: (Self-reported Data) Players Online 82,704 – 7-Day Average 2,050
9.    Entraction Poker Network: Players Online 10,663 – 7-Day Average 1,740
10.    International Poker Network: Players Online 6,330 – 7-Day Average 1,680
