2018 WSOP Schedule Includes Big One For One Drop & 78 Gold Br

The 49th World Series of Poker (WSOP) is all set to return in May 2018 and the WSOP has released a full list of exciting events that will take place during the month and a half long tournament. The full line-up of new and returning events can be seen at the WSOP website.

The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas will once again play host to the 2018 WSOP from May 29 to July 17. A total of 78 gold bracelet events will be played throughout 2018 WSOP and some of the player favourites will be returning. Events like the Colossus IV, Ladies No-Limit Hold’em Championship, Little One for One Drop, The Marathon, Millionaire Maker, and Monsters Stack will once again take place at the 2018 WSOP.

Tournament organizers have put together a great list of high stake and low stake events to give poker players from all backgrounds a crack at the WSOP. Senior poker players will also be able to enjoy their special Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship and Super Seniors No-Limit Hold’em. The two events that will grasp the attention of high stake poker pros will be the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event and the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop.

Big One For One Drop Returns After Four Years

The $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop event makes its return to the WSOP after a four year break. The poker fundraiser will once again see top poker players, philanthropists and businessmen battle it out for over $100 million in prize money. The WSOP will once again donate the $111,111 buy-in fee to the One Drop foundation as the WSOP and One Drop foundation continue a successful partnership. Founded by Cirque du Soleil’s founder Guy Laliberté, the One Drop foundation aims to provide sustainable and safe water to communities around the world who don’t have access to it.

The Big One for One Drop event will only accept 48 players and registration for the event is already open. The Big One for One Drop will be the last event in the tournament’s lineup and will take place after the Main Event. The 2018 WSOP Main Event will run from July 2 and the final table will take place from July 12 to July 14. The Big One for One Drop will start on July 15.

Number Of Exciting New Events Introduced

The WSOP is always looking to bring more excitement to each edition. The WSOP has introduced a number of new events for 2018. Some of these events include the $10,000 No-Limit Hold’em Super Turbo Bounty, $1,000 Double Stack No-Limit Hold’em, $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty, $100,000 No-Limit High Roller, $365 THE PLO GIANT, $565 WSOP.com ONLINE Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed, $50,000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller and “The Closer” $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em which has a $1 million guarantee.

Poker players from around the world will head over to Vegas to be a part of the 2018 WSOP and see if they can win a coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
