Early Friday morning Full Tilt Poker sent the following E-Mail message to their real-money online poker players in the United States, not only addressing the state of their current account balances but also rakeback payments where applicable. Here is a look at the message received by Full Tilt Poker players:

We regret to inform you that due to recent actions by the U.S. government, Full Tilt Poker is still unable to facilitate ‘real money’ play, deposits, or withdrawals by players based in the United States, including the processing of any pending rakeback payments.

Rest assured that our technical and legal teams are working towards a solution that would allow us to return these funds and account balances to you as soon as possible.  As always, your player account remains safe and secure, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by these actions.

We will keep you updated with any information as it becomes available. Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

The Full Tilt Poker Affiliate Team

One aspect not covered in the message is how the site will reimburse players for their Full Tilt Poker points –if they will be reimbursed at all. FTP’s are very similar to comp points earned in casino games, and although the amount players stand to lose is likely a pittance to most, some players have accumulated millions of FTP’s and with a cash value of about $5 per 1,000 points, making 1 million FTP’s valued at about $5,000.
