Binger and Bach to play for $5k PLO8 bracelet Friday

Once again three days of action was not enough time to complete a tournament at the 2011 World Series of Poker, and yet again play was halted with just two players remaining thanks to the atrocious Hard-Stop Rule put in place for the 2011 WSOP.

Hopefully neither Nick Binger nor David Bach were planning on playing Day 1b of the Main Event since they will have to return for the conclusion of the $5k PLO8 tournament, and with fairly equal chip-stacks it could be a long heads-up duel.

Bach is best known for having won the non-televised, 2009 Players Championship, and is appearing at his second final table of the 2011 WSOP –having already finished 3rd in the $2,500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw event.

Binger is the younger brother of the 2006 WSOP Main Event final table member Michael Binger, and despite a consistent career that has earned him an Epic Poker League 2-year card, he is in search of his first WSOP bracelet and first major win of his career.

Here is a look at the chip stacks the two players will bring into Friday’s heads-up match:

* Bach: 2,055,000

* Binger: 3,230,000

And here is a look at the final table payouts thus far:

1. — $397,073

2. — $245,314

3. Bryce Yockey — $180,180

4. Phil Laak — $133,377

5. Trevor Reader — $99,512

6. Peter Charalambous — $74,845

7. Nick Schulman — $56,729

8. Bjorn Verbakel — $43,328

9. Allen Kessler — $33,352
