After having a great day 1 and day 2, Luke Marsh came into the final day of the Paddy Poker Irish Winter Festival as the bookies favourite. He started the day 4th in chips with 422,000. However, when he got involved in 2 hands back to back with lower stacked Mathias Smagghe, Luke Marsh come off second best both times and leaves us in 23rd.

Mathias Smagghe on both hand flopped trip Jacks against Luke Marsh. The first hand Smagghe double up after flopping trip jacks with his A-J against Luke’s A-K. The very next hand Luke Marsh and Mathias Smagghe clash again. This time Smagghe has Jacks and Marsh had A-Q. And again Smagghe flops trip Jacks. Meaning the end of Luke Marsh’s tournament.
