ElkY’s win came over one of the most fearsome final table lineups ever assembled, considering that along with the Team PokerStars Pro ElkY, Marvin Rettenmaier, Tobias Reinkenmeier, David Peters, UK superstar and Lock Poker Pro Chris Moorman, Martin Jacobson, and online phenom and PCA High-Roller Champion Viktor “Isildur1” Blom were all battling for the title.

In the end it would come down to ElkY and Chris Moorman for the title and the €231,000 in prize-money that was set aside for the winner (the runner-up would have to be content with a mere €145,200) and it was France who came out victorious in the latest clash between the Victorian superpowers of the UK and France.
