ElkY picks-up 4th EPT High-Roller title in Berlin
Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier is one of the most accomplished poker players of the last decade; his exploits at the online poker tables are the stuff of legends, and since making the transition to live tournament poker ElkY has managed to build upon his online reputation, and is now considered one of the very best in the world.
ElkY added to his resume this weekend by picking up his fourth European Poker Tour (EPT) High-Roller tournament win at the EPT Berlin series. ElkY’s win in Berlin go along with two EPT Madrid High-Roller victories, as well as one at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) a defacto EPT event.
ElkY’s win came over one of the most fearsome final table lineups ever assembled, considering that along with the Team PokerStars Pro ElkY, Marvin Rettenmaier, Tobias Reinkenmeier, David Peters, UK superstar and Lock Poker Pro Chris Moorman, Martin Jacobson, and online phenom and PCA High-Roller Champion Viktor “Isildur1” Blom were all battling for the title.
In the end it would come down to ElkY and Chris Moorman for the title and the €231,000 in prize-money that was set aside for the winner (the runner-up would have to be content with a mere €145,200) and it was France who came out victorious in the latest clash between the Victorian superpowers of the UK and France.

ElkY is one four Triple Crown winner is poker history (the Triple Crown represented by winning a WSOP, WPT, and EPT title); he has over $9 million in career tournament earnings, good enough for 19th place on the all-time list; and is #1 on the France all-time money list.
