A quick look at the leader-board at the end of Day 2 of the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event reveals an utter domination by European poker players thus far in the tournament, with zero American players in the Top 10 –although there are some major American names lurking further down the leader-board.

Leading the way heading into Day 3 of the PPT Main Event is 2011 World Series of Poker bracelet winner Oleksii Kovalchuk, who is utterly crushing the tournament at this point. Kovalchuk is sitting on nearly 900k in chips while his closest competitor Giuessepe Pantaleo has a mere 438k; only one other player, Frederick Jensen is over 400k in chips.

With around 100 players still in the hunt here is a look at some of the big names still alive in the hunt for the PPT title and €1 million first-place prize-money: Juan Macerias, Arnaud Mattern, James Bord, Alex Kuzmin, Will “The Thrill” Failla, Olivier Busquet, Sam Trickett, Juha Helppi, Ludovic Lacay, Matt Gianetti, Anton Ionel, Joe Cassidy and Freddy Deeb.

Here is a look at the top 10 chip counts heading into Day 3 of the tournament:

1. Oleksii Kovalchuk – 892,500

2. Giuseppe Pantaleo – 438,600

3. Frederik Jensen – 400,000

4. Jean Noel Thorel – no count given

5. Juan Maceiras – 452,000

6. Arnaud Mattern – 306,300

7. Remi Marlaires – 187,000
