Full Tilt Poker signs Felipe Ramos

October 2010 may just go down as the year of the signing, considering a slew of poker and entertainment talent has been gobbled-up by a number of online poker sites, mostly by Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars. The latest in this rash of signings is Felipe Ramos, the Brazilian poker star who was previously one of Party Poker’s most recognizable players.

Ramos has had success in both online and live poker, racking-up online wins under the screen-name ‘Mojave’. Ramos’s biggest online score came in the 2009 WCOOP on PokerStars and he has roughly $400,000 in career online winnings at this point.

Ramos also has over $400,000 in live tournament winnings, including recent final tables in the EPO Main Event, as well as the PLO Championship at the World Series of Poker Europe.

Ramos’s signing comes on the heels of Full Tilt Poker inking boxer Audley Harrison and tennis star James Blake; not to mention that Full Tilt Poker has added top players like the highly controversial and outspoken Annette “Annette_15” Obrestad, and Mike “The Grinder” Mizrachi, who will appear at the final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event in November.

With PokerStars and even smaller sites getting in on the action, don’t expect the signings to slow down anytime soon, and you can bet Full Tilt Poker will add their fair share of big names.
