With the success the network has had with High Stakes Poker it’s understandable why they may look to add more poker programming –ignoring the 2 Months 2 Million ratings disaster they attempted. The network recently announced they will be airing the Aussie Millions –perhaps the second most coveted tournament prize in all of poker—in addition to Full Tilt Poker’s Doubles Championship.

The network has scheduled the shows to run during their “Poker Block” which will air from 6pm to 3am on Saturday’s beginning on June 5th. The Aussie Millions will air along with past episodes of High Stakes Poker in addition to episodes of PokerStars Million Dollar Challenge until August 14th, at which point the Full Tilt Poker Doubles Championship will take the place of the Aussie Millions in the lineup.

The format will give poker fans both new programming and reruns during the Poker Block.  Players will be in store for 10 Episodes of Aussie Millions spread over three events, and an unknown number from the Doubles Championship.

With the addition of the “Poker Block” it’s likely poker fans will be in store for another season of High Stakes Poker, although GSN has not committed to a 7th season of the show at this time.
