Lock Poker unveils Revolution Gaming splash page
On Friday the newly minted Revolution Gaming Network will come online, as Lock Poker’s purchase of the Cake Poker Network will finally come to fruition with the launch of the newly branded Revolution Gaming Network.
You can visit the new launch page at www.RevolutionGaming.eu
In a short press release available from the site, the Lock Poker led Revolution Gaming Network offered players a sneak-peek at what the new network will look like, and what promotions players can expect right out of the gate, including the following:
* $1 million Ronin rake chase
* An industry leading 36% rakeback
* 200% up to $2,000 bonus for new and current customers (some restrictions apply)
* The redux of the cancelled LockOps Tournament Series
“We are very excited at the prospect of driving the product, marketing and overall vision of the network. It is a dream come true,” says Jennifer Larson, CEO of Lock. “Merge was a great stepping stone for us but we have outgrown them. We really need to forge our own path to continued success. The only way to do this is to stay true to our of core philosophy: partnering with our players.”
Lock Poker announced it was leaving the Merge Gaming network last month after several run-ins with the network including the aforementioned LockOps Tournament Series that was cancelled by the network at the very last minute, which was likely the straw that broke the camel’s back when it came to Lock Poker’s future with the network.
Lock Poker decided to purchase the somewhat beleaguered Cake Poker Network and rebrand and revamp the network more to their liking. The Cake Poker Network was having major difficulties processing cashouts for players after Black Friday, something Lock Poker can immediately improve with the addition of their own independent cashier –which they used in lieu of the merge Gaming Network’s cashier to avoid delays that had been occurring there.
In addition to the new rakeback and bonus deals, the promotions, and the improved cashier, Lock Poker has also expressed interest in overhauling the Cake Poker software. The network will also implement a revamped VIP program, with current players switched to the new, better model –current players receiving rakeback will also automatically see their percentage increased to the new 36% number.
Current Lock Poker players will only need to download a software update to play on the new network, their account balances and reward program points will be automatically sent to the new network, and they will be able to participate in games right away.
