Martonas sighting on Full Tilt Poker tables

High-stakes online poker fans got a nice treat this weekend when one of the nosebleed’s prodigal sons returned to action; no not Isildur1, but Martonas. For those of you who don’t know, Martonas was the Isildur1 before Isildur1. Both players are hyper-aggressive, always produce big pots and huge swings, and are anonymous –with some people even thinking they are the same person.

In his return Martonas’s main adversary was URnotINdanger2 with the two playing $50/$100 PLO, and later on high-stakes fans were treated to a $100/$200 NLHE match between Martonas and durrrr. Martonas finished his session with a 25/$50 PLO session against finnishnightmre. Martonas’s sessions didn’t go overly well, and it seemed he was unable to re-buy on the $25/$50 tables at the end of the session.

Poker News Boy will keep you updated should Martonas reappear.

Players like Martonas and Isildur1 drive a lot of railbirds to the Full Tilt Poker tables, and even though they are strong players they supply the high-stakes regulars with a lot of profit in the long-run –although they can also make the high-stakes regulars lives miserable should they go on a heater like Isildur1 did against Tom durrrr Dwan late last year, only to lose it all and then some to the likes of Patrik Antonius, Brian Hastings and others.
