Man losses daughter-in-pokerA New Delhi resident by the name of Ismail Sheikh recently took things a little far and ended up loosing his 18 year old daughter in a game of cards.
Ismail had run out of cash during a recent hand at his regular card game so put the young girl up to cover the wager, unfortunately he did not win the hand his offspring was duly handed over to the player with the winning hand.

And for all you who think this is bad the news is about to get worse, the victor then proceeded to drag the girl out of the village and the father stood by and watched her go.
After the news had spread to the rest of the village though they grouped together to retrieve her from her peril.

Sources say that Sheikh is know to have a severe drink problem and is a compulsive gambler; matters have been made worse for him as he has been kicked out of his home by the rest of the family.

The daughter however is said to be traumatized but not physically harmed and has taken to secluding herself from the outside world refusing to leave her home.

What has made thing’s worse for the family is that gambling is illegal in the area and games can only be found underground in what are called ‘dens’. Local gamblers can visit these dens and try to earn money for their families. Police are looking into the incident and hopefully the girl will remain safe at her family home away from her father.
