the latest leg of the PokerStars UKIPT is in town, and the town in question this month is Newcastle. Aspers Casino will be hosting the latest leg and the action gets under way tomorrow afternoon at 2pm with the first of two day ones for the main event. The buy-in is £500 + £50 and players start with 15,000 chips and a 60 minute clock. As always with PokerStars there is plenty of side action on offer and tomorrow night at 9pm will see the first event commence. There are other cash games on demand at Aspers and on Sunday evening at 6pm a £100 NLHE Charity Event will take place. Gareth Walker won an earlier event this season when the tour stopped off in Nottingham, and he is sure to be in attendance over the next few days as Newcastle is his home town. Next month the tour will head south for the first time this season, to Brighton, where the Hilton Metropole

Hotel will stage the event. The tour will then move back north to Scotland before heading over the Irish Sea to Dublin, and the final event of the year will be held in the capital where players will battle it out at the Grand Final. Make sure you check back with us next week when we will bring you all the big winners from Newcastle, and we will continue to keep you up to date with all the latest poker news from here in the UK.
