Poker pro Praz Bansi wins 2nd WSOP bracelet
Praz Bansi joined a very exclusive with his win in the $1,500 No Limit Holdem at the 2010 World Series of Poker, becoming just the third Brit with two WSOP gold bracelets –Chris Bjorin and John-Paul Kelly are the other two.
In addition to the coveted bracelet Bansi will walk away with $515,500 in prize-money. When asked what the victory meant to him compared to other tournaments Bansi said, “The EPT’s and the other tournaments are important, but to me – the World Series is everything.”
The final table of the event featured a very diverse mix of poker players, showing just how far poker has come globally: The final nine players represented four different countries, The US, Canada, England, and the Dominican Republic; the 10th place finisher hailed from yet another nation, Mexico.
