The PNB Poker Buzz for October 24, 2013
Every Thursday PokerNewsBoy.com brings you the latest gossip, debates, and disputes from the world of Poker Blogs, Forums, Editorials, and Social Media in what we are calling The Poker Buzz. If it’s an interesting story or idea you’ll find it here every Thursday (or sometimes on Saturday when the writer falls behind on his work).
Top 10 Contributors that belong in the Poker Hall of Fame
The Poker Hall of Fame has been producing quite a bit of debate recently, and it doesn’t seem like it’s going to let up anytime now that everyone from Doyle Brunson to Daniel Negreanu has called for a “restructuring” of the Poker Hall of Fame.
On a much friendlier note, Paul Oresteen is apparently of the same mind I am, that there simply are not enough contributors in the Hall. Here is a look at who Oresteen believes should get in: Top Ten Non-Player Candidates for the Poker Hall of Fame
Top 10 Heads-Op NLHE players online
Oresteen’s wasn’t the only Top 10 list that hit the Internet recently, as Doug “WCGrider” Polk penned a column for Bluff Europe where he ranked the 10 best Heads-Up No Limit Holdem players on the Internet.
You can see who made Polk’s cut and where he ranked each player at: Polk Ranks Top 10 HUNL Players Online
Negreanu vs. Busquet and Negreanu vs. Savage on Twitter
Twitter has been lighting up the past few days and it seems that Daniel Negreanu is at the center of just about every controversy. The topics have ranged from the appropriate punishment for penalties, to whether online poker is chess compared to live poker’s checkers, to the Poker Hall of Fame criteria.
Since the conversations are a bit disjointed and span several Twitter accounts I’ll just post the Twitter links of all involved and you can browse them as you please:

This week’s installment of: Was it a scam or does he owe?
It’s pretty sad that I could probably make this weekly addition to this column considering all of the debates that take place on poker forums about bets gone bad, and this one is one of the more interesting in recent times, and not just because it involves 2003 WSOP Champion Chris Moneymaker.
The story weaves its way through 2+2 scandals, and pulls in not only Moneymaker, but also Eric “Sheets” Haber. You can read it here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/29/news-views-gossip/moneymaker-vs-jason-young-long-1383092/
