WSOP Circuit Series Caesar’s Palace Main Event
It’s been a while since my last tournament update so this first one is a little dated but still needs to get a mention considering the 744 player field was a WSOPC record at Caesar’s Palace. In the end it was David Tuthill who triumphed over the record-setting field.

WSOP Circuit Series West Palm Beach Main Event
72 of the 670 players in the WSOPC West Palm Beach Main Event, a $1,500 No Limit Holdem event in one of the US’s rising poker hotspots, Florida. The biggest winner was poker pro Jonathan Tamayo, who pocketed over $200,000 after outlasting his fellow competitors in a 16-hour final table.

Ari Engel wins fifth WSOPC Ring
In the lead-up to the West Palm Beach Main Event Ari Engel closed the gap between himself and the all-time WSOPC Gold Ring record (currently held by Alex Masek). Engel won his fifth WSOPC ring, tying Mark “Pegasus” Smith and Kyle Cartwright for the #2 spot on the all-time list, after winning Event #7, a $500 NLHE tournament that attracted 212 players.

Down in Australia the PokerStars ANZPT Main Event in Perth drew a field of 219 players for the $2,050 tournament. Dejan Divkovic was triumphant over the Aussie-heavy field, pocketing a six-figure score for his victory.
