This Week in Tournaments: Wynn, HPT, Foxwoods and more
It was hard following all of the tournament action over the past week as tournament series were taking place at the Wynn in Las Vegas; in Sydney, Australia; and everywhere from Connecticut to Chile. Expect another Tournament roundup in the next couple of days as more results are coming in from the WSOPC tournament in Blackhawk, Colorado as well as the WPT Venice. So without any more buildup here are the recent results from six different tournaments.
Stein, Marchese and Busquet final table the 2013 Wynn Poker Classic Main Event
207 players entered the $5,000 buy-in Wynn Poker Classic Main Event, putting the prize-pool over the $1,000,000 mark. As is usually the case with a high-buy-in tournament held in Las Vegas, there were plenty of big name pros in attendance with several recognizable names making the final table.

Dinesh Alt wins PokerStars ANZPT Sydney Main Event
Like the Wynn Poker Classic, the PokerStars ANZPT Main Event in Sydney nearly reached a $1 million prize-pool itself, falling just short at $962,683 after 460 players registered for the $2,000 buy-in tournament. Rising star Dominik Nitsche made the final table finishing in 3rd place.

Another PokerStars tour produced another near $1,000,000 Main Event, as the LAPT Chile Main Event, a $1,000 buy-in tournament, attracted over 1,000 players (1,024 to be precise) generating a prize-pool of $993,280. Keeping with the theme of big names at the final table, Nacho Barbero landed at this final table.

Yet another star-studded final table occurred at the Foxwoods Poker Classic with Justin “Stealthmunk” Schwartz, Ryan Eriquezzo, Raj Patel, and John Dibella all making the final table of the $2,500 buy-in event that attracted a total of 192 entrants.
