File this one under unconfirmed, and because of the tax implications my guess is that we will never know the real numbers involved whether they were larger or smaller, but the latest rumors coming out of the Macau high-stakes poker action is that Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan scooped a 3-way all-in pot with AK vs. TT and JJ worth a mind-boggling $11 million USD! The story came to light after Finnish poker pro Joni “Jouhki” Jouhkimainen detailed the story on his blog –albeit in Finnish—which the good people at www.highstakesnews.com were good enough to translate into English:

“Funny deal from the $20k/40k game:
Durrrr and two other players got involved in a pot and got 89 million dollars in preflop.
Durrrr: Ac-Kd vs Jd-Jh vs Ts-Tc
Durrrr spikes the ace. good life”

Jouhkimainen was not involved in the hand, or in the game, but he claims to have been on the rail and saw the action unfold –so this seems like a credible first-hand account. After initially getting over the amount of money in the pot, my next question is how on earth did the player with JJ, let alone the player with TT, end up all-in pre-flop in a three-way pot???

If Dwan continues to be invited to play in Macau we may never see him in a US poker room again. I can only echo his thoughts on durrrr; GOOD LIFE!
