On a recent episode of the Hardcore Poker Show, Party Poker spokesman and all-around poker magnate Tony G called on the members of Team Full Tilt Poker to guarantee player deposits which he estimated at $100 million.

Tony G first spoke on the podcast about the April 15th crackdown, saying that it was inevitable, and had to happen. He went on to say, “There was no legal standing, no one knew for sure, and now they do,” when discussing the legality of online poker in the US, and what laws the sites still operating in the US market were possibly violating.

Tony G then went on to call out Team Full Tilt members –Howard Lederer and Phil Ivey in particular and by name—to insure players at the site that they would receive their money:

“If the whole team Full Tilt could guarantee some of that money back, I think that would be a big help. From what I understand about $100 million of Full Tilt’s money has been frozen,” he said, stressing that he sees the Team Full Tilt as having a big part of the responsibility in the process.

“I think people like Howard (Lederer) and Phil Ivey should come forward and guarantee that money, and ensure that people are being paid back. They could make a very firm position, and they could come forward. The Team Full Tilt needs to step up.”
