Tony Hachem wins 2nd straight ANZPT POY award
Although it’s unlikely Tony Hachem will ever be able to get out from his Brother Joe’s shadow, the “Other Hachem” has been having a ton of success on the PokerStars Australia New Zealand Poker Tour over the past two years.
It was recently announced that Tony Hachem has won the ANZPT Player of the Year award for the second straight year! Hachem’s success on the fledgling ANZPT poker tour is unparalleled; here is a quick rundown of his accomplishments on the tour for 2010:

- 2 final tables in 2010 ANZPT preliminary events

When asked on the PokerStars.com blog how he felt after winning the award Hachem had this to say: “It’s a great honor to win the ANZPT Player of the Year. I’m over the moon. There was a lot to play for here in Darwin and it was some of the toughest poker I’ve ever played, so I’m very proud. It doesn’t get much better than this. I’m in awe.”
