WSOPE prelims: Schwartz and Ausmus win, Seidel denied
The 2013 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event is now upon us, which means all of the preliminary tournaments have come to a close. In this column we’ll take a look at the results of each of the bracelet tournaments (Events #1-#6), as well as any important milestones or moments that occurred along the way.
Event #1: €1,100 Ladies Championship – 65 entries
This was Glazier’s first WSOP victory after finishing runner-up in a 2012 tournament, and 31st in the summer’s WSOP Main Event.

Event #5 saw Frenchman Roger Hairabedian deny Erik Seidel WSOP bracelet #9, while picking up his second WSOP gold bracelet. This was also the tournament that saw Phil Hellmuth reach an impressive career milestone, as he booked his 100th WSOP cash.
