With everyone expecting a big splash from the now 21 year-old poker phenom at the 2010 World Series of Poker, it’s in the online poker world where Annette Obrestad –where she goes by the handle Annette15—is still making her bones.

Her latest win was in this past Sunday’s “Sunday 500” on Full Tilt Poker, the online poker giant that recently signed Annette as a sponsored pro couldn’t have asked for better timing from the poker site’s latest superstar: With the WSOP just getting underway and having just signed Obrestad as a sponsored pro. The win netted Obrestad $87,400, which will help ease any expenses she may incur in her travels to Las Vegas for the WSOP.

Obrestad will be making her first World Series of Poker appearance stateside –she did win the World Series of Poker Europe Championship at the age of 18—and is likely to be the most anticipated debut in the history of modern poker; more anticipated than even Tom Dwan or Phil Galfond, as Obrestad is known as one of the most fearsome tournament players in poker, live or online.

Obrestad is at the top of many players’ short-list as one of the most likely candidates to walk away from the 2010 WSOP with a bracelet.
